Hello friends! I’m Brianna, 34 years old, (she/her) living in Illinois with my boyfriend and our seven cats. I’ve been creating imaginary worlds and people in my head all my life, but only seriously started organizing my ideas into the shapes of stories when I was about 21 years old. And I finally get to share it with other people. My debut novel, Lament of Light, the first book in The Xyri Nexus series, comes out on January 22nd, 2026.
Lament of Light also funded in under two minutes on Kickstarter, and raised over four thousand dollars. I’m currently working to fulfil the Kickstarter while gearing up for the public release of the book!

I want to have fun with this, not just by writing and selling books, but building a community and finding the people who will love these books and resonate with these characters, and letting them have fun with it, too.
I have a lot of fun plans in regards to this series, with running Kickstarters and having exclusive one-of-a-kind editions of the book, and doing live shows and fun giveaways. As well as all the plans I have for short story collections, novellas, prequels and more, revolving around this series.
